GOLDSPOT used to be an LA based band . . . did we loose them to the UK? Come back GOLDSPOT! Play a HELL YA! night already!!! (i've been asking them since i started booking hell ya! nights on 05!)

Apparently, Goldspot are breaking out in the UK. A friend of mine saw them at the Glastonbury festival (Arcade Fire, Bjork, Rufus Waignright) and said that they were the best band at Glastonbury this year. There's a lot of great press in the UK on them, too. All great press on "Tally of the Yes Men." But we Los angelinos can proudly say that we discovered them first. But regardless, I'm happy for them that they are doing well. I'm sure they'll be back in the US soon. I can't wait.
